Which bookstores do you work with?
We prefer Libro.fm because they support independent booksellers, but when you try the app you'll see that we pull in pricing from all the top audiobook vendors, even if they require their own apps for playback.
What about Yoto and Tonies?
Yoto and Tonies are walled gardens — they lock you into buying proprietary cards and figurines, and they won't let other apps play their content. We think your kids' audiobooks should work everywhere, not just on one company's hardware. ListenDuo is the opposite: open, works with your library, and never locks you in.
Do I need a library card?
A library card unlocks the free borrowing pathway, and we can help you sign up for one. If you'd rather buy books and start listening right away, we make that easy too.
When does the hardware ship?
Once we hit 10,000 active users we'll launch a Kickstarter to build the first 1,000 units and ship them roughly six months after that.
